The Sky View Tents Shop in Buena Vista is Coming to Life!

We’re thrilled to officially announce that Sky View Tents signed a 3-year lease for our dream stargazing tent manufacturing location in Buena Vista, Colorado! 

This spot is more than perfect—it’s just a mile from home. Once we’re fully set up, we’ll be walking to and from the shop every day, which our car-hating Labrador Toke is going to absolutely love.

Building the Dream

The moment we got the keys, we dove in headfirst. Over the past two and a half weeks, we’ve been pouring our energy into transforming the space. A fresh coat of paint breathed life back into the shop. Next, we designed and built something a custom work table specifically for cutting rolls of our ultra-clear bug mesh to size. This table will be the heart of our operation, where we store and lay out precut materials, stencil features, press in grommets, and heat-press our logo. 

Every step, every detail, is about creating something extraordinary for you.

A Starry Experience Awaits

Last Friday, something magical arrived—our planetarium projector arrived! This isn’t just any projector; it’s a precise representation of the northern hemisphere that rotates just like up in the real night sky. In our dark sky showroom, we’re creating an experience like no other. Blackout curtains will seal the room in total darkness, allowing you to step inside a Sky View Tent and see exactly what it’s like to stargaze under crystal-clear skies, all from inside the tent. The Final Piece of the Puzzle

Our sewing machines have finally arrived! These machines are the lifeblood of Sky View Tents, and now, the real magic begins. Every stitch, every seam, and every stargazing tent will be crafted right here in Buena Vista with care, precision, and passion.
