Our footprints are 40D ripstop for the Solo and Duo, and 210D oxford for the XL. They have 5000pu waterproof coatings and are designed to protect the base of your tent from abrasion. They also are great for keeping dirt and gravel off your tent as you roll it up.
The perimeter is slightly smaller than the base of your tent, so when water flows off the tent it doesn't accumulate between the tent and footprint.
